Has anyone ever heard of a Oliver Chiller Plow?

In 1869, James Oliver patented a new way of hardening cast iron that resulted in what he called "chilled iron." Oliver's process involved pouring molten cast iron into conventional sand molds into which iron "chills" had been inserted. The "chills" drew off the heat from the molten metal quickly, resulting in a tough outer layer that scoured and wore well, while the center of the casting was softer and better able to withstand shocks without breaking. Chilled iron was cheaper than soft center steel and, by 1878, Oliver was building 60,000 plows per year.
The Oliver Chilled Plow Co. was one of the firms that merged in 1929 to form the Oliver Corp.
