Looks like I need to wrap up the quiz. The top scores went to A Roell and Highboy Ford,each had a perfect score with the bonuses and extra credit correct also. Next was Mary A. with 125 points,followed by Chris Losey and Allen Pruehs with 110. Diesel scored 105 and Shawn B. had 100. The answers are... #1 The name of the first Oliver plow was the Chilled Plow. #2 Oliver steel wheels were called "Tip Toe" #3 I was looking for 2255 did not use a chain coupler, but also accepted 550 and the Fiat models. #4 Oliver plow shares were Radex brand. #5 Two different grilles were used, steel and plastic/fiberglass. #6 Controls for the first Hydra-electric were located on the steering column. #7 4-53 means 4 cylinders, 53 cubic inches per cylinder. #8 The first models to use Meadow Green and Clover White were the three digit models. #9 Differences between "A" & "C" series were, checkerboard decal to tapered emblem, slanted dash to two piece dash, throttle location was moved, hyd. filter location was moved, pressure lubrication was added to transmission, cubic inch displacement and HP was increased, steering and power steering system was changed along with the size of the steering wheel, seat suspension was inproved and changed. #10 1850 & 2255 engines were supplied by outside vendors. Extra Credit, James Oliver had to own a house before he could get married. Thanks to everyone who replied, now someone else can host "Who wants to be an Oliver Expert?"

Not to be picky, but I had scored 110, remember, and I KNEW about the darn house, but, like so much else does, it slipped my mind. Didn't want to cheat, and look anything up.

I stand corrected Diesel, you did score 110, for some reason I had 105 on my score sheet. I went back and recounted and you did have 110. Good thing my wife is the school teacher and not me. sorry for the mistake,WB.
