New S-55 Steering Wheels?

My local tractor supplier advised me that he could order a new steering wheel for a Super 55 from AGCO. Has anyone seen these? He says the rubber is not shiny like the originals. Also, do they have the button hubcap in the center?

I have a new steering wheel for a Super 55 that I am not going to be using. I am not sure if it is the right one for you though because they list two in the parts book according to serial number. The one I have is E-767, it uses the 1/2"x20 hex jam nut. E-mail me if you are interested.

Try Min-kota. I've never seen an Oliver wheel of theirs, butthey do very good re-rubering of steering wheels, and those goofy torsion springs that Oliver used under the seat. Very reasonable and they do good work.

Aaron , the round rubber torsion springs that Oliver used under there seats can't be that goofy.John Deere liked it. They started useing them in what they called the float ride seat.Only John Deere put the torsion springs up inside a metal housing , to keep the sun off them.When one of my brothers replaced the torsion srings on his Oliver"77" , I had made a aluminum box which set over the new torsion springs.This works very well keeping the sun off.
