I have a '40 70RC, and am getting ready to paint the hood. The Martin Senyour paint seems too expensive. How accurate is the color green from CT Farm and Country?

I don't know if you are going to use or show it.
If you are going to use it use the cheap stuff, (remember you get what you pay for). The cheap stuff might match when applying but it could change when it dries, and it could change again when the sun hits it after time. Good example of this would be Napa (John Deere) Green. Luckily I used some for touchup on a impelment that we use on the farm. It looked good when it was wet, it was alittle dark when it dried then when it sat out it turned really dark (like hunter green).

If it's for show go with the Martin Senyor paint. I've used this brand to paint the wheels, duals, grill, and shakle weights on my Oliver 2255. It coats very well, and has a nice glossy finish when it dries. It did match perfectly with the original.

I have tried the CT Farm & Country paint on some custom Oliver toys in the past and have had mixed results. One batch will work fine then the next would cause you to pull your hair out. I know the Martin Seynor is expensive, but I won't use the cheap stuff again.
