I just acquired a model 60 Oliver, Ser #412387. I have seen references to "Row Crop" and "Standard"
What are the identifying characterestics of each. Also, can anyone tell me the date of Mfg. by this serial No.? My restoration experience is with Dodge trucks. This should be interesting!

Tom: The serial number that you listed is for a 60 Standard, built in 1948. The build card showing the date of build, all options and the dealer it was shipped to have all been destroyed. These tractors were built from 43 to 48. Last serial number is 413 605. There were 3,605 60 Standard tractors built, with some built for Cockshutt in Canada and painted red. The tractor should have a "wide" front end that is non adjustable wheel tread, with probably 24" tires on the rear. They make a real cute tractor when restored.
