Do you guys have any advice on where to find a dot 3 or 4 Perkins turbo (running) that I could swap into my 105 with a few modifications? My motor is worn out and I need more power. Thanks-Ethan

In theory the only dot 3 engines in North American were White combine engines although I used to know a man that delt in Perkins and he had a few of them. I take it your 105 is a Dot 1 engine.

I just rebuilt a 2-105 engine - not a DOT 4 and put into our 1850. We used Dot 4 pistons which have metal ring lands instead of all aluminum ones. We had to get the rods machined to accept the Dot 4 pistons. The rods are pressurized and cool the under side of the piston. If you turn up your pump, you could get 140hp. Our 1850 pops off with just a bump of the key at 50 degrees and runs well at close to 185 Hp. I wouldn't use more than about 140 Hp constantly without ruining something.
