I recently aquired an old cockshutt 35. Got her going but discovered when it gets warm the oil literaly runs out around the rear seal. I imagine that the crank surface is worn on the seal, does anyone know if I can get a speedy sleeve to match up with the rear seal to go on the crank? would this even be possible? thanks.

first of all are you 100% sure it is the rear main seal or could it be rear oil pan seal. rear main seal is a large double lip seal that does were and are available. In fact I have new/old stock better seal then what you will buy at parts house. Also the oil pan is a 4 piece seal that is side seals are seperate and the end seals come with a rubber seal. I also have these seals. You should be able to take new seal and get a speedy sleeve if crank actually is worn. Phil most likely also has these. I do have alot of Cockshutt parts and have acsess to these hard to fing Hercules parts.

Phil Heisey likely knows if this is available or not. He is the Cockshutt parts guru. He's very good to deal with.
