Oliver 1800 Diesel Pto Rate

Hello. I have a Oliver 1800 Diesel and was wondering the PTO rate. I want to attached a square baler and need to find out the PTO rate. I am waiting for a manual but as right know it has not arrived. Thanks for the help.

Make sure your clutch is adjusted properly. Check the over-center snap.

1800 Olivers had rated PTO speed at rated engine speed. So if the tractor is an A series 1800 the rated engine speed is 2000 RPM. If a B or C series rated PTO speed is at 2200.

Like was mentioned in the one above post, the PTO will be 540. But 1000 was an option. Take a look at the PTO shaft. 540 is a 6 spline shaft 1000 is a 21 spline shaft.
