I was at a show this weekend with my MM 1600. I got into a conversation about the Oliver version of this tractor. I call it that since I don't know which was first. Anyway, mine has the MM engine and I was wondering what engine Oliver used in theirs and what other, if any, differneces there were between the two. Also, I have never seen the Oliver version, does anyone know where I could find a picture or see one up close?

In "Oliver Hart Parr" by CH Wendel their is a photo and a brief story about the Oliver 2655 which is the same as the MM1600

Oliver did use the MM 585 6cyl, the one I saw last week must have ran into something because they had to replace the grill and simply bolted a MM grill right on. If you get a chance to see the Hart Parr/Oliver Collectors mag for Oct of this year, you might get a kick out of the cover picture (check out that color) Dennis H.
