Bargain of the day may have been the Super 55 with a loader @ $1,400-they said it would pop out of reverse gear sometimes.
All the Olivers had been repainted, but not a lot of attention to detail.
Auctioned ~200 tractors, mostly John Deere 2-cyl and Farmall along with a few Case, Ford, AC, etc. High tractor was a Farmall MDV (high crop M diesel) at $8k, and probably worth that as I would suspect it will increase in value.
Mind blower of the day was the Super MTA that, as it was being auctioned, someone opened the oil check petcock on the side of the oil pan and water was streaming out. Still brought $2,700

Actually one owner that was getting out of hobby for now. Was featured in the Cedar Rapids Gazette some time back had over two hundred tractors in various condition but most running. As noted mostly JD and IH, A few implements but not so many over two days with primarily tractors Saturday. I"ll have to check with my mail carrier to see if he got the 88.

As of Sunday morning, the sale bill is still posted, try pasting in the link below. There is both a listing with pictures and a PDF listing. When they took the pictures, some of the tractors were buried in snow, it's been a rough winter. As stated, it was noted as one owner. I overheard several conversations and shared the opinion that the tractors sold cheap. I arrived about 30 minutes before the start and they did not start any of them, but since the equipment sold the day before, they may have run some then. The auction company may eventually post all the results, I don't know about this one.
