Governor Control part

I am reinstalling my governor control linkage that I removed a few years ago on my longtime restoration. I probably didn't realize it when I took the governor control off, that there were a few pieces that had been altered or replaced with hand made pieces. One of the pieces is the pressure plate (item 47 on the parts page that is on the link), which is the metal plate at the bottom of the assembly. Someone cut out a crude washer out of sheet metal, which I have cleaned up. However, it appears it should have a tab on it. Is this plate assembled so that the tab goes through the slot on item 32 (Governor Control Friction Plate) to keep it from rotating?

Yep, it goes through the top plate, kinda locking the whole thing together. I have a spare (#47) with that tab all newly painted up Oliver Green if you need one? Yours for $5 + shipping.
I used all the other bits of this assembly rebuilding one that was rotted out.
