I"m not sure if my 77 Row Crop HC is charging, I have a new gauge but I"m getting no needle movement. I"m just putting everything back together. I converting from 12V to 6V I"m guessing it"s a "A Delco System" and not the "B Circuit System" I"ve searched the old posts...thanx in advance

It's a rebuilt generator & new regulator, I polarized the generator, I did hear a click..I'm getting a multimeter on the way home from work. I'll check it out tonight, I hope it starts up, It's freezing butt cold here. I think I have a faulty amp gauge, It's new but I can't get it to move one way or another.

I know it can be aggravating as I have been through it too. New wiring, gauges, generator, regulator, cables, battery, etc. and still nothing. Borrowed a nice test tool that goes on battery to see if gen was working and nothing. I followed the polarizing instructions and still nothing. Took it back to rebuild shop and they said it needed polarizing, I put it back on and it worked.
Hope you get it figured out. For such a simple system they can be a pain.

Did you get a rebuilt generator? Did you get a new regulator? There should be instructions with it on how to polarize the generator. I would guess that is your problem.
Anymore questions just ask - I went through this with my 77 last year.
