Hello! The White American 60 and 80 use the same flywheel as the 100 Series and Workhorse tractors, except...AGCO machines-off the outer "pot" ring, to make it a truly "flat" flywheel. This makes the American flywheel 10 pounds lighter (look at the AGCO shipping weights). Just get a Workhorse flywheel. Then, either install a 14-inch clutch (as we did on a 1650 Oliver) or machine the outer ring off and drill/tap new holes to install the 12-inch clutch. Looks like I need to find my Cummins parts book again! The correct flywheel is Cummins Option # FW9100. I hope this helps!

Merlin, I came up with differnt flywheel part numbers between a 100/120 and an engine bought from Cummins as a kit and put in a 1955. Can you shed some light on this? The Cummins # for the White changed to a new #, but the one on the other is still good in the Cummins system. Thanks, WB.

Well Thats a good question. We're a cummins and agco dealer and all i can come up with is the agco number. the cummins parts listing for both the 60 and 80 engine serial numbers don't list a flywheel. i have one on the shelf that i ordered from agco years ago in hopes of getting them made reasonably and it dosen't have a single marking on it. agco list is over 1800.00 we usually use the 14" flywheel no matter what conversion we're doing.

I'm going to give the folks at South Bend Clutch a call and see what they can come up with. I know the 60 and 80 flywheel is an odd duck because I haven't been able to find a cummins number either. I'll let you know what I find.
