A Couple of Interesting Pics

On the right, we have a White 1870, which is a composite of a Minneapolis Moline G950 engine, front frame and axle, and an Oliver rear end, and cab, and White Sumac Red, and Oliver Clover White paint. The MM G955 is the same basic tactor.

On the left is a Minneapolis Moline G1355, which in itself is not unusual, but this one is painted White Sumac Red, and Oliver Clover White, and looks factory. It also uses the later Oliver cab. In Canada, these are generally known as White 2270's, but this one is labeled MM.

I am always interested in seeing all the different variations of the Oliver/MM/White tractors put together during the transitional years. It's still a shame that Oliver is not around today. Maybe we enthusiasts ought to be pooling resources to buy the rights to Oliver back from Agco. Okay its not realistic but AC was able to get the name back from Deutz at least for a little while.
