383 2050s' total. A back issue of the HartParr oliver collectors magazine had a in depth article on them , 1083 2150s'. They went through the build cards for the two years (68 and 69) they were made, and thats all there is . A friend asked me, "how many do you think there is left?" Good question.

I'm only going by the serial #'s listed in the book. I had no idea of the accuracy of the book or what for production was built.

When they list starting and ending serial numbers for a model, it might be 9,000 numbers from first to last. In other words, the first say 2050 was this number, and the last one was this number...9,000 apart. But, in the meantime, 8500 of those number in between there, were other models. They weren't consecutive for a particular model. If they built 25-2050's then they might have built 300-1850's and then 600-1650's. All with consecutive serial numbers. All the serial numbers in the books tell you are the first serial number produced of a model and the last for a particular year, not how many were produced.

Well then can someone tell me how many Super 225 power units were built. It has a 529 hercules and I only know of one other. I suspect it to be very rare but maybe not. There were 8,723 Serial #s issued but don't know how many were made. Does anyone have some info? Please email me if you do!

Are you serious that there were only 383 2050's and 1083 2150's? That seems like they are a pretty rare tractor. I have a buddy that has a cockshutt 2050 MFWD and a 2150 cockshutt MFWD, he also has a 2050 Oliver MFWD, along with all the other 50 series MFWD. The all run absolutly great and are all in there original clothes, all with less than 5000 hours. I think he was able to buy the cockshutts together for $10,000.

One of the oliver magazines had an article on the 2050/2150 and I belive there was something like 1300-1400 of them no where near 9000.

I think my stepdad paid around $5,000 for this one. It needed a lot of help. All new lights, cracked head, steering leaks, heavy 3pt cylinders leaked, transfer case needed resealed, a clutch and numerous other items. Ended up putting a CV shaft in the front end, hydraulic pump and overhauling it this last fall. Probably have $8500 to $9000 in it now. It works well. A 2050 is the non-turbo version of the 2150. According to the one book I have there is apprx. 9000, Oliver 2050's. I would say if tractor is in good condition $8500 should be a good starting point. 2050/2150's are good tractors and the Hercules engine is a strong runner too.

Yeah, it was $5000 on the nose. I know, because I went to that auction looking to buy that very tractor. I got scared off by all the leaks on it. Ended up buying a leaky 2-85 FWA this past spring. Probably should have gone harder after the 2150, lol. Glad to hear that it is a good tractor for you.

As for price on a 2wd, I"ve seen them advertised with asking prices of $6,000-10,000. I almost bought a 4wd one a few years back. The guy wanted $7200 with a leaky front seal but I chickened out. In hindsight, it was probably a pretty decent deal.

I don't know the answers to what you are asking but we had about 8 of them around here and they were good performers.

The 2050 in the background I purchased about a year ago, had a junk cab we pulled off. Needs alittle work, gave $6500. The 2150 in the front I bought about 8 years ago with a broken rings, among other things, gave $2500. The 2150 was sold from the dealership I used to work at, and it took a number of years to track it down. The both have original paint, I'd like to get them painted someday.
