Morning you all. Looked at a a 1750 yesterday. It wasnt running. Has sat for 3 years, had a rebuilt engine put in it 3 years years prior to that and was worked them 3 years on less than 100 acres. It has the tri power, is a deisel, interchangable 540/1000 pto, dual hydraulics,3pt Factory Flattop fenders and a cab, but it a one of them sliding door cabs. Batts were stone dead, been sitting ya know. Has good rear tires, band duals( bout 30-40%), fronts are wide but only 10%. He told my father in law he thought it should be worth $3500. I tried to search, tractor house and Iron search to compare prices. Seen similar tractor, all running I assume, in prices from $2800-$7500. There were only about 9-11 ads I could find. Are there less of them out there or something? Also, it does not have the factory motor. He said that when they rebuilt the motor , they rebuild one out of a different OLi, He said she is "snuffed up" pretty good. I want the tractor if I can get it for qa decent price. What should I offer for it as it sits and I install the batts and get her running? What should I offer if we wait till spring and he gets it running. He is an honest guy as am I. Also any ideas what motors could have been put in there. The oil fill and check is on the left side, down low and a little more towards the front of the engine. , the injection pump is on the left side. He isnt around till Sunday, thats when I plan on dealing with him. What do you guys think. Sorry so long.

I'd start at two thousand and go from there, not running for three years is just to scary for me to go over that price unless he can get it to run and drive, then it's a different ball game. You at this point have no idea of what it is, don't you think?, or do you know this man? There's a reason why it was parked, I would think. My two cents, good luck!

I bought a 1750D with cab and loader a few years back for $4500. It has a real nice cab with heat. It also starts real good. Mine's not for sale! I would try to get yours for around $3000, less if your lucky. My loader is in pretty good shape too.

1750 is a good tractor. Get the casting numbers behind the starter and the serial number which is below the dash on the casting. It may have a 310 engine out of another Oliver. Good on fuel. Send me an e-mail I have questions for you. J.
