Can anyone here tell me the model plow in the pictures below. I bought it last week to turn the garden and would like to know what I have if I ever need to order a new share or shin. It is a 16-inch plow with an adjustable "landing lever" for the cross shaft. There is no coulter, although I would like to find one for it. The only number I could find was cast onto the landside heel which is EP 1300 which is an Oliver/White part number and led me to ask on this board.

Thanks for any information

When ordering parts what is more important than the model of the plow is the numbers off the moleboard. Oliver offered different moleboards which in turn take different parts. First time I have seen a picture of a single bottom 3 point plow.

Thanks,

Is there a standard location on the moldboard I should be looking for a number. I"ve looked real close but can"t find one. It may be hidden under several layers of paint and rust. I wonder if it might be an aftermarket replacement moldboard that isn"t stamped with any numbers. Do you know of any resource I could use to figure out which moldboard I have by measuring hole dimensions.

Thanks for the info.

I am not a plow expert, but I have see many Oliver plows, and I have never see a one bottom Oliver plow like yours. . However, Oliver did build plows simular to yours for Ford. The large rust spot on the back side of the moudboard is where the moldboard number is located. Use a wire brush to clean the area real good. The number of the moldboard should be stamped deep enough that you will not have to much problem reading it.

I was wondering if it might be a rebranded Oliver. I think they made plows for other companies as well or at least sold the bottoms to other manufacturers. I"ve been looking at a lot of Ford plows and haven"t found a match. I go at the moldboard with a cup brush tonight and see if I can at least ID the moldboard. That will at least allow me to order a spare share and shin.
I"m planning on using it soon to turn the garden and will dismantle, sandblast, and paint it later on. Maybe I"ll uncover some other numbers when I do.

Thanks for the input.
