Wife, Grandson and I are going to HPOCA Winter get together on Saturday. We live west of Rock Island, Ill. Going to drive to Walnut, Ill. Friday afternoon and pick up grandson, ( 2 yrs old ) and then back home and then to Waterloo Saturday. If you see a old fart with a Navy sweatshirt and a Oliver super99 hat and a 2 year old, say hi, I would like to meet some of you guys. Chris

Randy, check to be sure, but I thought it was Thursday to Saturday. Being a native of Waterloo, theres not much there to see other than the meet. Brian

Just talked to mom in Waterloo. She read an article out of the paper saying Hours 9 to 6 Saturday only. No Sunday times. Better go to Cabella's on Sunday.

My son and I are going to try and go,don't have much of an excuse since we only are 25 miles away. Glad to here you're taking your grandson, we were blessed (surprised) with a grandson in December, a little too young to drag to the show. Never thought at 46 I'd be a grampa, but like someone said, "if we new that grandkids would be so much fun we would of had them first". In just one month I couldn't imagine life without him. When my son and his fiance get married in April of 09 when he gets out of college, they want their son and our 3 year old niece to be the flower girl and ringbearer on a 1755 pedal tractor and wagon. So I guess I'm looking to buy one.

Kinda like this one? Every time he comes, the first thing he wants to do is go the shed and sit on the tractors. Chris

Yep, that's the one. Great picture grampa. Is that a spiner on the steering wheel?

Yep, grandma insisted that he should have one on his tractor, he plays with the one on the 1850 all the time. Chris

Yep, Wish I was going. It's a ways from Connecticut. There always seems to be stuff I should not leave....guess I should just lock the door and not look back! Please give a report on things for us poor souls that remain behind. Above all, enjoy yourself! I expect to go to the summer show, so wear your hat and I'll keep an eye out! Cal
