The tractor i just bought has had the side panels painted over, and also the serial # plate, best as i can tell the model # is 165-2274 Serial # 155-278-456, Engin block numbers are 221320 and 158544A I,m thinkin it might be a 1655 or 1650. also, can someone tell me on serial #s if its the first 6 digets or the 2nd six that they go by. It is an early 1650 diesel (1965 model) Contact the museum in Charles City and they can tell you when the tractor was built (what day) and where it was shipped. There is a fee but it is minor. The last three are the transmission/final drive code numbers. J.
