I have two and paid 2,500 a piece and thought it was a good price. I agree. Take it and run.

Narrow or wide front? That is an awesome price regardless. May just for the heck of it want to check the trans oil level; if it's high, you might have a cracked centerplate and have hydraulic oil leaking into the trans. Not sure if this happens with just the power-booster equipped tractors, but ours leaks badly and will need to be fixed this winter. I guess it's a common enough problem that someone started reproducing the centerplates.

Anyway, let us know if you end up buying.

To be honest, all it would have to do is run for that price.

The biggest problem with the 880 is the power booster(if equipped). This would be the lever at LH side of dash panel. It acts like a 2-speed to slow down or speed up tractor slightly.

Other than that,pretty bullet-proof tractor. ~brad

Look for leaks on the power steering. With the loader I would suspect this and maybe some other front end wear. We've got a diesel and I'm finding it hard to think about selling or trading it, she's a very handy tractor to have around. Good luck!

That's a great price. Take it, and run like a thief.
