J, good to have an opportunity to help you. Your postings are always so helpfull. Cockshutt hydraulics are something I know a little bit more about since I started making the reproduction 3 point hitches for them. The only Cockshutt which had the capability of connecting to hydrualic power before the valve from the factory was the last 570's and possibly the last 560's. On my 62 570 Super, there is a manifold you can take off the top of the casting to the left hand side of the reservoir which can be replaced with another manifold with a port for 2 hoses. It is listed in the 570 parts book as available in 62 and on which would translate to just 62 as that was it for the 500 series run.
The bypass manifold which is on my tractor simply shunts the oil back into the cating on its way to the valve in the reservoir. It is the only power beyond set up I have ever seen on a Cockshutt.
I hope I have been some help. Regards
