What is the difference between a HG and a 0C3 crawler. I would like to find a small crawler like this with a bad engine or no engine at all. Any leads? Thanks

that ain't an OC3 its either an OC-4 or OC-46.

Actually, the HG and OC-3 both used Hercules engines. However, they were fitted with manifolds embossed with the Oliver name. The easiest way to identify an OC-3 is by the dish style front rollers, the HG used an open spoke type that ran inside the chain, not outside as on the OC-3.

There's not a lot of difference between the HG and the OC3. The HG's are generally older and have Hercules engines. Where most OC3's have Oliver motors. Here again most parts are interchangable. They're out there. They were a popular little crawler that are greared a little high.

Hi - Just found this crawler on a Canadian Web site (farmach.com) - canadian dollar is 2/3 US, just to help with the conversion - think this tractor is in Alberta (get out the map) - Note, this will take about 30 seconds to load.
