77 steering wheel

Did all of the 77"s have 18" steering wheels or did some come with a 16" like the 66"s? I have a keyed 18"steering wheel on it now but the spokes are not covered. Just wondering what reproduction ones were correct.Thanks

The original steering wheel on my 77 RC was 18". The original wheel on my 66 Std. was 16". I bought replacement 18" and 16" steering wheels from Korves Oliver.

The late 70's and 80's, and all the 66/77/88 series, the Super 66/77/88 series, the 660/770/880 series, as well as the 1600 with manual steering and the early row crop 1800's all used the same steering wheel. The Oliver part number was 1B-767-C. Oliver called them 18 inch diameter, but I have see some pople refer to them as 17 inch.

I'm not looking for an arguement,but I'll stick with what I said. 60 and 66 used 16 inch keyed hub. You're right on the rest. Difference wasn't til Super 55,550 and 1600 power steering after that. They were splined center.

I got all the information that I posted from the Oliver parts books, for each model.

You can call me a lier if you want, but back it up with some facts.

They were covered to center,18 inch on the 77s. 60 and 66 used 16 inch.
