I am not trying to put a downer on anyone , just sharing a little something personal. The wifes dad died just recently and I had to send her to Arizona to take care of things. Didn't seem like I was going to miss her that much, but haven't spent a day apart since we first started living together. Now its been ten days and I don't expect her back for a week. Kinda tough on this old boy, after my divorce from my first wife I never thought I would ever give a rats patoot about another woman, man was I wrong. Anyway, enough whining, wishing you all a merry Christmas and don't ever take momma for granted.

Mine was only gone most of the morning. She had to go see a couple of patients. The boys girlfriends both have younger siblings,so they had to be there early. I was home alone most of the morning. Didn't get to me as much as I'd have thought.I knew they'd be back and I was pretty busy doing chores, making breakfast,etc..

LMHO.
This is a most unussual subject for a tractor board. But what the heck? My wife and I have taken seperate vacations a number of times. Been going near onto a half century. I"ve only found one fault in them. When we were reunited. What ever resting up I had gotten wasn"t ever enough to carry my racked bones over the next honeymoon fevered week. I"m skeptical seperate vactions are all that healthy the honeymoon renewl. Keep a candle burning in the window. Fernan };^D
