My battery/gas access hatch on my '44 2N has 3 holes drilled in it. Any ideas as to what they're for??
Thanks again...

Three holes where? In the middle? On the edge? In a line? In a triangle? Could be a previous owner had something mounted on there (6v fan blowing air in his face?). Do the holes look factory?

third party image

This image shows where the holes are suppose to be. Maybe someone has mounted one of those race car tachs. on the cover. :-)

Hey all.. the holes are in a trinagle towards the handle/latch. they seem to be factory. I'll have to U/L a pic when I get my digital camera. I'll measure them as well.. maybe that'll help. Hey Tyler.. is that a pic of your N?? If so, awful clean.. hate to scratch it!!!
Thanks
