I have a 1939 Ford 9N (serial # 300) with cab. I believe this is a military surplus tractor possibly used to tow aircraft. It's in pretty rough shape but I'm projecting a very hopeful and complete restoration. I don't know much about the tractor other than it's a 1939 not only because of the serial # on the engine block, but because of other features that distinguish it from other years. If any one knows anything about this particular tractor or knows where I can go and get or find information or maybe even pictures, I would greatly appreciate it. I've got a lot of questions particularly if there are any others out there like this and what is this really suppose to look like. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks a lot! - Eric

the Peterson and Beemer book lists the Moto-tug as a tractor made in the 2N years. Used as a tow tractor for aircraft. There is a picture of one in the book
