I have a 1945 2N. I am the third owner- my grandfather bought it from some guy around 1968. I noticed that the last digit of the serial number appeared to be stamped twice. The number is either 9N183623 or 9N183626. It apperas to be done at the time of manufacture because the numbers are perfectly aligned on top of each other and they look identical to the other 3 and 6 in the serial number. What does this mean? Could it be more valuable?

It most likely means that someone stamped the wrong number by mistake and just went back and whacked it again with the right one. I've seen several like that, even up through the 100-series. I doubt it makes it worth any more than any other, unless you can document that it was Henry Ford's personal tractor or one used to pull a special parade float or something like that.
