2N king pin questions

I am in the process of rejuvinating a 2N that has seen a bit of work over the years. The front end is quite loose, but the steering box is tight. the looseness comes from two areas..the tie rod ends (I am replacing) and the king pins. there is realy annoying play in the king pins, allowing the pins to travel up and down about an eight of an inch. Everytime I go over a bump, the whole pin drops, and then clunks when the wheel takes on weight. Otherwise they work good. I haven't taken them apart, I want to order the parts ahead of time so I don't have much down time. Will new bushings fix this? bearings? or could it be worse?

Thanks in advance
Steve

There's a thrust bearing goes on the bottom, inside a housing in the lower end of the axle extension. Suspect yours are shot. About $15 each for new ones.
