I love the fact that the archives are available. I also would like to direct more people to them...to prevent some of the FAQ's that get posted. I was one of those people who read the board a few times and then posted a message w/o checking the archives (my excuse is I'm color blind and the archives link doesn't stand out to me) That's why I thought maybe a more obvious link to the archives would be great, whatever you think would help is worth a try. I would like to believe that most people would peruse the archives before posting but you are probably more accurate than me. I didn't mean to criticize the board just thought a suggestion to keep down the FAQ's might be appreciated. Thanks for all your great work to keep this a fun and extremely helpful resource. David

I started Ford-FAQ's in response to the same stimulus. I asked for collaboration, hoping to get individuals to contribute their experiences. Unfortunately, only one person ever responded to the call for help. So, I figured I'd do it alone. I'm in process of revising the whole site , perhaps with search features and an interactive chat later on. I had hoped that the whole board would get involved, but that opportunity never materialized. The only direction I can see now is increasing commercialization to defray the costs of maintaining the site and answering questions.

bg...

I'd certainly help with answering questions on your site but you seem to have more knowledge on the subject than I do. Maybe that's part of it???

I don't think I have any monopoly on the material. I learn something new every day. Sometimes, I have to go out in the yard and tear something off my tractor and measure it or look at it upside-down to figure out what's going on. I welcome any insights, experience and comments that are backed up with BTDTGTTS.
