My 2N doesn't want to drop the back blade unless I pop the clutch and give it a little jerk.. Any ideas why this might be? It goes up fine... and occasionally goes down okay, but never as fast as I would like ... THANKS!

There are four bolts that hold the control handle quadrant to the lift housing on the right side of the housing.loosen the four bolts and tap the whole quadrant forward slightly. The holes in the quadrant attachment are elongated and are for adjusting the travel of the lift linkage.
It sounds like the lift may be starting to rise when the lever is too close to the bottom of it' travel and not leaving enough down movement.
Hey! It's worth a try and easyly corrected if that is not the problem.
