A friend of mine bought an old motor home, and was wanting to jack it up.

Them things are heavy, I have owned one.

Now, in his figgerin he decided that he could borrow 2 floor jacks, that either one alone, would not have enough capacity, but in his figgerin, jacking both together, side by side, would be.

What do you folks think?

Send him to the chinese tool store and buy a big enough jack and heavy jackstands. They ain't that much $$.

Reminded me of a dually experience, when overloaded anyway and the outside tire edged off the pavement, instantly blowing the inside and before could say, "#%&*!, the outside blew.

LOL, Leemo, that was what went thru my head too.

I did tell him that I didn't think it would work.

NO, he could not borrow my floor jack.

And that he needed ONE bottle jack that had the capacity to handle it.

I think it will be difficult to split the load between the jacks, without some sort of see-saw balancing contraption.
