Made a New Wiring Diagram for the 9N and 2N with a A Circuit 8N Generator...GB in MT gets some Credit here...Mine was wired all wrong but it charged...Gary's was wired right and he sent me a diagram..Just my amp guage didnt work... Charged fine...I like a working amp guage...Works now :)

I think Garys has a right mounted genny to (im sure of it)...All you have going to your magneto is a ground wire...I know cuz that is the only wire going to the magneto on my 67 Mercury outboard...Had to wire that up using the controls from a 80 Mercury outboard..Grounding the magneto kills the engine...Been a while but now that I think about it I think I have the Tachometer hooked up to the same place on the magneto...Outboard is a 4 banger I set the tachometer on 8 cylinder setting and it worked perfect...

I looked at this in the listings and thought interesting he is doing what I'm doing with my 2N.

And while its a little different its food for thought.

The only difference is on my tractor there is not s wire to power the coil but a wire that comes off of the magneto to stop the engine a kill wire of sorts.

And that generator from the 8N is that the right side mount or the late 8N left side mount like mine ?
