I know I saw someone else with the same problem I have but cannot find the msg's. I just received a 1 3/8" pto shaft conversion kit for my NAA from CT. It is an inch longer than the stock unit. It also appears the overrunning clutch attachment will not go up tight or close to the tractor as it would on a stock unit. Is this the way these things are made? I have called CT tonight and am going to have to call again in the morning. Their units are make in the UK according to casting no's. It seems the further out a pto shaft sticks from the bearing, the more problems you will have with it.

Heres the scoop. The lenghts in various aftermarket catalogs are correct for what they sell. I called CT this morning and gave them the measurement from my old NAA shaft (1 1/8) and the guy told me that they had sent me the correct shaft, the conversion shaft is nearly 1" longer from the bearing bracket to its outside end. That is why they include a new cover cap with the kit. I put the new shaft in tonight and hooked the bushog up with the drive loose and measured with it all the way down and all the way up. I am now going to have to shorten my bushog drive shaft. IT was made to go with a stock pto shaft and no overunning coupler and certainly no shaft that is 1" longer with a coupler on it too.
