Today I was running my Jubilee and it suddenly quit running. It has gas, and the starter cranks fine. I noticed when I turn on the ignition key, the guages donot move. I was suspect of the coil, but i'm not shure what to do next. HELP!

you may have a bad condencer. to check, remove dist. cap. with switch on break points with a screw driver, if you have fire, remove a spark plug, leaving wire attatched ground plug to block, and crank engine, if no spark at plug, condencer is bad. hope this helps.

Terry,I have to assume that you mean it's getting gas to the cylinders, and that it is not a plugged fuel filter, line or carb.Be sure it's getting gas through the carb. Then if you have a 12V. system with a resistor in the line to the coil, check for voltage on both sides of the resistor. If you have voltage to the coil, pull the coil wire out of the dist.cap, hold it near a ground [engine block]while cranking it over, and see if you have a spark. If you have fire there, then check the dist. cap, make sure that the center carbon contact is still there, check the rotor for carbon tracking, sometimes over a period of time, usually due to improper plug gap, poor plug wires,or just an overdue tuneup, the spark tracks to the dist. shaft through the rotor. If you don't have fire at the coil check the condition of the points. Replace if necessary,if still no spark replace the coil. Hope you find the trouble....Jay
