I have oil in the water of my 2n. Other symptoms include blue exhaust smoke and low oil pressure (10psi) after engine is hot. The crankcase oil does not appear to have water in it. I read the replys to Clancy's similar problem with his 8n. Would the diagnosis be the same (worse case scenerio a crack in the block, or best case, worn rings and defective head gasket)for my 2n? Thanks as usual for your advice,

Steve.

Well, look at the bright side, at least your cylinders are getting lubricated with the 10 lbs. of pressure. Usually, when the oil pressure drops too low, the cylinder are the first to suffer, because they rely on oil being squirted out of the connecting rod hole. I don't think that your problem is a cracked block. I would vote for the worn rings and head gasket leak. Happy Motoring

Claus, thanks for the prompt reply. I will be doing a compression test soon to verify. If it's leaking, off with it's head for a new gasket, inpection, and as long as I've gone that far, new rings, and rod and main bearings. Can't hardly wait!

Thanks again,
Steve
