I saw your post a couple of days ago where you were asking about sway bar brackets for a quick hitch.

One of my Uncles made a trailer hitch for me. (It's a great hitch, by the way) As you can see from the first pic, you can't put a sway bar on it.

So he came up with the hookup that you see in the following 2 pictures. Basically it uses a sway bar from an MF 165, and a clamp that goes around the lift arm.

It isn't too hard to make, and it holds fairly well. If I pull someething sideways fairly hard it will slide.

Here's a picture of the trailer hitch:

And here are a couple of pictures of the sway bar hookup on the other side:

Boss...that's quite a rig your uncle built, reminds me of the MF pressure control hitch.

Is that a 135 it's mounted on?

Actually, it was made from a weight transfer hitch. Kinda like this one:

My Uncle initially tried to make a bale spear out of the thing. But he decided to scrap the idea, and made me the trailer hitch.

The tractor is an MF35.

I hope Tweeter has seen this thread. He didn't have an email address in his posts, or I would have dropped him a line.

If anyone emails him regularly, would you mind pointing out this thread to him?

Yes, that's the hitch I was thinking of. I think the tractor has to have the pressure control feature to use it properly.
