has anyone noticed the pages here seem to take a bit longer to load? I can't remember when I noticed this but it is there. Not complaining mind you, I'd wait half a day for some of the information I've gotten from this group, just wondering.

regards
tom

Yes, I have noticed since before the beginning of
April, the loading has gotten so much worse on this
website only. I used to spend every night here,
received high speed Internet ( ADSL) and the first
three weeks , was great. Since then , I have
almost given up on this site , now have to wait
for up to fifteen seconds to load , it's just not
worth it anymore. No problems anywhere other than
this site so I quess I'll be forced to spend my
time somewhere else.

I've noticed it mostly during the day. I just assumed that this webserver is shared with other systems on the same computer and day time use was high. Evenings seem to be pretty snappy.

I too have seen a very long load time lately. The server is probally being worked on or a local switch somewhere near the server serviced or choked. It was pretty bad lastnight and was fine today. I am a power user and have a cable modem, no problems with any other web sites. It may be no big deal. But it is not a memory issue. At least not on my end, this site is not bandwith intensive and I do some serious bandwith up & down at other sites with NO speed problems.

Tom, I have not had trouble lately, but you may be low on memory in your computer. Check to see if you temporary Internet Folder is loaded - if so dump it. Or if you have IE Explorer you can go to the View Pull Down up top, select Options, then delete the temporary Internet Files.
