Well guys I"m stumped. In my previous post I described my problem with my 9n, with a front distributor. After replacing the coil, condensor, cap and rotor, plugs, plug wires, and ignition switch, my iron horse still spits sputters and quits running after about 20 minutes now. Is there something I am missing? Help my wife is driving me crazy !!! Ha Ha

May I assume that you also replaced the points since you didn't mention that? You need to troubleshoot the problem after it stops running. Look at the voltage at the top of the coil. Check for good spark, etc.

Put the old condenser back in and try it.

What's you spark look like when it dies on you?Is it a nice, fat, bluish spark? If it's yellowish or orangey there's something wrong with your primary ignition system. If it's OK, than check the fuel flow to the carb by holding a container under the carb after removing the drain plug from the fuel bowl. Fuel should come out continuously like a cow peein' on a flat rock! If it doesn't, check the "secret filter" in the carb fuel elbow, then the one above the sediment bowl and then the one at the fuel valve inlet.

"Is there something I am missing? "

Yep. Did you check your fuel filters?
All three of them?
