I got her all cleaned up and ready for work.
Changed all the fluids, new set of plugs and had to put a new key switch in her, she fired right up. I cheked out the hyd pumps and it seems fine. it leaks down pretty slow with the box in the back. maybe 5 or 10 min. piston seals "save that for another day"
I cleaned it up with the presure washer and shot it with a few rattle cans last spring. I also
put the 12 v conver. on it and spent the money
on electronic, ignision And i finally put that Zane thang on that I bought last spring. That "thing" works great if you have a 2 or 9
you have to have one of these, no more fuss that
box holds tight right were i put it.
I have another set of dog legs that I got from a guy here just waiting for me to get em blasted and put on.
This aint no trailer queen but she's a great workin little tractor
I hope the pics work out

I dont think I said anything about it being a 8n
this is a 1944 2n I do believe all orginal as far as engine-trany and rearend go. rear arm with the 2 holes are from a t20 or 30 (I think) I had to "adjust" the Thang to accomidate the dif size arm. It works great for the box scraper. I still have to get the mower on it and see how that handles. I have been looking for a 5' or 6' disk
but they seem to be way out priced around here. I hear some guys talk about 3 or 4 hundred for a good used one. all I have seen is double that or more:-(

Zane, sorry for the unwanted ad, I removed the pic
I think now I do remember you not wanting pics posted. understandable.

Dell,
Thanks from the tip on posting pics. your missin some great central Cali whather. 70 and sunshine in Galt.

It sounds to me like you've got an 8N. This is a 9N. Don't let the paintjob fool ya. Same motor, same tin, different everything else.

wingnut..... .....you mean like this? instead of using [IMG] in square brackets use < img src="http://location" > use NO SPACE between < > Right click on yer photobuckett picture and click copy image location; then paste location in yer N-Board message and put the HTML instructions around the location. Understand?

#3 CENSORED..... ..Zane has asked for NO PICTURES of his "ZANE THANG" because it is so simple to copy that he feels his intellectual property rights will be violated while he is waiting for copywrite from patent office..... ..Thank you for understanding and REMOVING yer picture in photobucket.
