Well my one and a half year old boy Andrew did it this time. Last night he was "helping" me fix a manifold to tailpipe connection. I had it apart, smeared it with high temp copper RTV, and put it all back together. Couldn't find my 1/2 inch wrench I'd just used, but there are a lot of them on the workbench, so I grabbed another and snuged it all up. I went to move it this morning, and there was a heck of a rattle coming out of the muffler pipe.

Guess where Andrew thought that wrench should go?

I guess we'll be taking it apart tonight.

Take Care
Steve

My father and my grandmother used to say "If you got kids, you got nothing else!" I never understood that until I got kids.

Aren't they wonderful...I had a 5 gal. bucket under my 8N and had just got the plug and screen out of the pan when my 4 yr. old daughter (who has never met a stranger, human or animal) wandered into the shop behind me to see what daddy was doing and to introduce me to her new "friend". Now usually this is a grasshopper or ladybug she has captured. I was still on my knees when I turned around to say hi... to a 4 ft. long black snake! She was holding it as high as she could and it was still dragging the floor! About 2 hours later, when the oil was cleaned off the floor and the wall and my daughter and me and her friend, I took her back down to the pond to let her friend go, and to tell her how ladybugs make much better friends. My Anthony(2yrs) has to have a tool in hand when he rides on my lap on the NAA. It gives him something to throw then the tractor stops or dies. Gee...wonder where he learned that

I can tell you from personal experience that you will have the same "trouble" at 6 years. My dad says it is the same after 35 years! I teach high school and meet a lot of kids and I think your son sounds like he is off to a great start at avoiding the kind of trouble I see kids getting into every day. Keep up the good work!!
