Head Stud Troubles

I have a 2n with a broken head stud on the front left corner I tried a easy out, tried to drill the dam thing out with no luck. The break is just below the lip of the block and on a angle. Any advice guys????

WHOLESALE TOOL has a left turn drill bit taht'll drill it out, then take ya a heli-coil and put inn'r if ya screw up the threads, its a 7/16-24 bolt or stud which ever it might be, i've done MANY that way and haven't had a problem yet, but many people on this board doesn't cars for heli-coil, but i do..

I don"t know what mess you have now but a broken stud can be removed by centering a large nut over the broken stud and then welding down through the center of the nut. You get the stud welded to the nut then you can wrench it out.
