Can 8N pull a 6 foot finish mower?

Have a 52 8N and have been using a 5' brushhog. Would like to get a finish mower- preferable 6' so I don't have to run over my tracks twice each mowing.

Will there be any problem pulling a 6' finish mower behind an 8N?

I use a 6' King Kutter on my 8N with no problems.

No problem; I pull a 6" Caroni over 3 acres of grass all summer behind my N"s. But, like others said, use an ORC & remember, it is a big lawn mower, not a bush hog!

I've been pulling my Woods 6' mower behind my '51 and '52 8Ns for 18 years. No problem except when I don't sharpen the blades or the grass gets too tall.
Don't forget to install an over running clutch (ORC) on the pto shaft.

You should have no problem if you use the mower within it's design limits, as a "finish mower".

Don't expect to chew through foot-tall grass and weeds, though!

John, I use a 6' King kutter with great results. My biggest problem was using it like a bush hog. Running over medium sticks and limbs. Much better on grass only. Hope this helps. Rob

Does it run good and is the clutch in good shape.
Then it should pull a 6 footer no problem.
