Needing to replace fiber camshaft gear on 9N. What's best to use: steel, aluminum, or fiber?

Use either steel or aluminum gear both work ok.

Kincaid..... .....what ever they are selling. Fiber gears were sold because "quiet" used to denote "quality".

WARNING: while you can gitt fiber replacement camshaft gears, they are a SPECIAL "press-fitt" and unless you have the specialized jig to gitt the camgear correctly matched to the camshaft lobes (hot-rodders call-itt "degreeing") yer gonnna haffta byte the bullett and replace both yer camshaft and camgear with a 4-bolt cam and aluminum gear..... ....respectfully, Dell
