Pressurized radiator vs. non-pressurized is there anything else that is different besides the rad cap and the top tank of the radiator ? Can I go pressurized by just adding a cap ?Enjoy the day,
Peter

Rockie..... ...while eather the pressurized or un-pressurized (not recommended) radiator will fit yer N-tractor, the radiator caps are NOT SWAPPABLE. The 4psi pressurized radiator is better, has more cooling capacity, is the ONLY ONE available. While you usetta beable to gitt radiators re-cored, most radiator outfits don't because the EPA OUTLAWED LEAD which is used to make solder..... ...Dell

Dell...FYI...Lead-free solder is now available and has been used in the plumbing industry for several years. Not trying to be a smart a**, just to let people know that might not.

I think Dell probably meant it is the lead solder in the old radiator that they are taking apart to recore that the EPA is worried about. Not the new lead free stuff they would use to put it back together...tim
