I am overhauling a ford 2n tractor with one piece valve guides . Is there a correct way to install the valve seals/guides in the block without shaving off part of the seal? I have ruined the 4 seals trying to get them installed in the block. Is there supposed to be seals on the exhaust guides? Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated! thank you in advance!! Twister, I recently put new adjustable valves in this 2N, it used to have the old 2 piece guides and mushroom valves. Seals are for the intake valves only, but don't bother with them, they won't last anyway. FWIW
