Turf Tires for 8n

I just purchased an 8n with the rear rims rusted off. I want to put wide turf tires on it. Any suggestions? I can't find 28" turfs. Found one guy who had put 24" wheels on his but I can't find a place to buy 24" wheels for the 8n.

If you do find some 24" rims.. you can mount some big monsters like these 16.9 x 24's my NAA currently sports.

Course at 450 a tire installed.. I make sure I don't drop any nails in the pasture.. and frequently check it for sharp sticks and pointy rocks.. if you know what i mean.

I got my rears from Tucker and the fronts from a motorcycle tire store online. They work great for mowing and yard work. I don't remember how much they cost.

You can check with Miller Tire or Tucker Tire, they both carry turf tires in various sizes. I was lucky and got mine from a guy who had bought them on a Ford/NH 3930 and did not like them so he sold them to me while he was buying regular tractor tires. I think mine are 13.6 x 28s. They fit just fine. Alliance brand, made in Isreal. I bought a set of the newer 6 ring wheels for them. I then picked up some 19" rims for the front and put motorcycle motocross tires on them so they kinda match the rear turf tires. Does a great job mowing without tearing up the lawn when turning. And I was surprised at how much traction the turf tires have when I was doing some landscaping with a box blade and pulverizer.
