Jubilee throttle friction disc

I have a 1954 Jubilee and cannot get the throttle to hold which is particularly irritating when working the three point, and steering. I need a third arm/hand. It does not seem to matter how much I tighten the nut on the friction sandwich it will not stay. The surfaces are clean and dry and the disc that is sandwiched is probably original and is hard. The local Ford dealership cannot get a new one. Does anyone know what might be substituted for that disc?

You might try to get the friction disk used for the lift quadrant. They appear to be about the same size. albe

Dave; The throttle friction disc is available at FNH. Part number NAA-99631A, about $8.00. The spring washer is P/N NAA-99778B, about $12.00.

Dave the disc for the three point lever is the same. If you can't find one let me know I have them in stock. Hope this helps Tractor Rod

I once cut a piece of mule hide from an old hoseshoeing apron to replace this disc. It worked. John, tOTG
