Does anyone know the make and model number of the Magnito used on the war time 2N? I have the tractor and the steel wheels but I'm still looking for the mag.

Amazingly enough, I have seen one or two pop up on ebay over the last year. Keep your eyes peeled, they're out there.

Frank..... ...according to my I&T FO-4.....
"The magnetio ignition system (p/n 2N-12500) was a wartime contingency aimed at providing some tractor production starting in 1942, and very few tractors were actually so equipped. A Fairbanks-Morse FM-J4B73 magnetio unit was used and is driven by the camshaft through a magneto drive adapter (p/n 2N-12600) as shown".

You really need to consider the merits of having your very own personal copys of the N-Ford Master Parts Catalog, p/n TIE-3731 and the I&T FO-4 manual..... ..respectfully, Dell
