I just this minute recieved my new Danbury Mint 1952 8N. It is really nice. It's a whole lot better than the ERTL Precision I bought last year. The detail is super! The manifold even looks like it's burnt. Side-mount with plug wires, the radiator flips open, it has a bumper, axle nut wrench that allows the wheel to be removed, and PTO cap. When you move the Touch Control lever, the lift goes up and down and the control spring is a real spring. The battery door latch has to be turned before the door will open and the tool box opens to reveal a set of tools! The hood and fenders are really embossedThis is too cool!

They are tougher to fix than the Ertl.

I saw one of those in an ad the other day and almost fainted. I,m still thinking of getting one as I collect die-cast cars when it's to cold to work outside. Sounds like I better get on the stick and get one!

Yep dave, I've got two of them.....done, finished and "correct enough". :-)

I even have the toys to go with them too.

It's nice to have stuff finished. I like to finish one project before I start another. It gives you a great sense of accomplishment.

I have one too, Bob... it's real nice. Note: The Company has been bombarding me with junk mail..they have a companion to the 8-N ( A Fordson) Guess they think I'm just another sucker for this stuff. (As of late..these are the only two tractors they offer, but maybe more will be made available)

Hey! I want one! Only, do they have a 9n? I noticed the ertl versions of the 9n have the back wheel all wrong. How much does one of these cost and where can I get one? Thanks!

They don't offer a 9/2N. I think they had a Jubilee and they offer a 1927 Fordson. $127.00 from Danbury Mint.

I also have one of the 8N s from the Danbury Mint. The detail is unreal. There are numerous moving parts, and it has real rubber tires, not plastic. The address is 47 Richards Ave. Norwalk, connecticut 06857 1-888-854-7108 ENJOY!!!!! ! Jasper
