I have acquired a 2N that has been converted to 12V and the wiring is a total mess. There are two solonoids that have been wired together and a car coil rigged to the mess. After about an hour of operation the engine started to die. I jump started it several times and as soon as I put a new battery in, the wiring became quite fried.
I purchased a new 12V box type coil and a new Delco single post alternator and a new Stewart Warner ammeter.
I would be very grateful to anyone who could help me with a correct wiring diagram. Thanks

The link below has all the various wiring daigrams needed. Sad how some people just "glue" these great old machines back together in the most hap-hazard way.
